The Innerworld

Originally made for the Metroidvaina Month Jam, still in early beta.  However, due to interest in the game I am going to keep working on it!!

STORY:

You are a kid that just recently got out of school, ready to take on the world.  Your neighbor, the world renowned author Justin Kimberlake Rolling, invites you to his house.  When you get through the door he takes you to the back of the house where a secret room resides behind the bookcase.  This room seems to be like an anomaly to you since nothing like this sticks outside the house.  However, before you can ask, he grabs a book from the pedestal and says, "You are going to experience what few people on this earth have.  Remember, you are here for a reason!!"  He opens up the book and places it back on the pedestal and quickly mutters something under his breath.  Before you know it the room gets engulfed in lush vegetation that seems to lessen your view.  As you start to look around the world starts to transform into a place you might have never seen before.  You are no longer in the world that you know...

Features:

This game includes a choice of 2 playable characters (Way less than any other AAA title), a story that takes pages and ideas from other stories (can't always be original), a move set that grows and opens up new paths and areas to explore, a bunch of enemies to defeat, and a fate that leaves the worlds hanging in the balance!!

Minimum Requirements:

OS: Windows 10/11 (it runs on WINE too, but a Linux version is coming soon! It could work on older systems too)

CPU: AMD A4-5000 quad core APU at 1500 MHz

Ram: 6 GB (only takes 10 MB at the moment)

Graphics: Kabini Radeon HD 8330

Additional notes: Could run on a toaster (but I didn't try it, let me know, I'll update this)

This was a fun project, I think I'll keep working on this when I get the time!! I certainly got a lot of things to work on at the moment, but I'll update this when it comes to final product!!
